The characters
My thoughts on this book are decent so far. It seems like it describes the way little boys lived back in those days pretty accurately with a healthy mix up of funny fiction. The way Huck Finn is describes seems to match the way some kids grow up now, unfortunately, with abusive parents. Tom seems to be like the little boy that everybody once was. Adventurous, outgoing, imaginative, and hyper. All the other people in the book seem to match the setting of it, and go along well with the other characters. Overall, it seems like the start of a good book.

I really like the way you put it. "The little boy that everybody once was." Even for girls, I feel like all kids had that mischievous side at one point in their childhood.
