Huck is Chill

Huck is so laid back about living alone. He typically has everything he needs for survival, so he's just living day by day. This image caught my eye because this is how I imagine he spends most of his time; relaxing, smoking his pipe and watching the clouds float in the sky. For twelve years old,
Huck seems very mature, especially being a boy. Since Jim came along, I think him and Huck have grown closer, almost like they were long lost brothers. There not really worried about what might happen next because they're prepared for mostly anything, or so we think. I'm excited to see what new situations arise in the next chapter and see how Huck and Jim handle it.

Huck has gone through a lot for a boy at his age. He's had to grow up without anyone. He has an abusive drunk for a father, and from being told what to do and not to do, I can imagine his day-to-day life style is prefect because he has been able to survive through it with Jim.

I agree that Huck is very relaxed and cool about things, and i also agree that Huck and Jim have grown closer. I will say that despite what is portrayed in the book, Huck and Jim are really only prepared for slow movements in and out of shelter. If a search party were to stumble upon them, all they can do is run, and that's too fast for preparation. they'll have to leave all of their things and go, and what then?

Totally agree. That is one of my favorite characteristics of Huck. It makes him more down to earth.
