Huck's Escape

Huck developed creativity while escaping his pap after days, or weeks, of being locked up and abused in a cabin up stream. This became evident when he used Pap's claps-knife to stage a robbery and a pig's blood to stage his own murder during said robbery. To throw the search off track Huck threw a sack of cornmeal in the river and another sack in a lake nearby to make it look like the robbers split into two groups, one to take the property and the other to hide his corpse. Using a canoe he had stored supplies in, he rowed three miles up the river to Jackson Island where he planned to live.
