Huck's OK
So far I kind of like this book, I wouldn't read it on my own but its not the worst book I've ever read. A few things I like about Huck is that he is very good at faking his own death. Another thing I thought was cool was how lucky he was to find 6,000 dollars randomly and he actually did the smart thing and put it in the bank and was living off the interest. Its also rather weird that he is a kid yet he doesn't have much of an imagination. His dad is the worst father I've ever heard of.

I agree with how it is weird that Huck has no imagination for a kid so young but I think the reason why is because he dose not have a real family and he always been surviving on him own. So in a way being alone is what got him to be more of an adult than a child.
I totally agree, it would be so hard to understand what they are talking about with out the guidance of someone else to help you through it.

I agree with you. His father sounds absolutely sickening. I've dealt with a few people like him before. Frustrates me to pieces. I was honestly surprised at his level of maturity and lack of imagination, but I suppose being on your own, and having to provide for yourself at such an early age will do that to you. :|
