Huck Finn
The Adventure of Huckle Berry Finn, has already caught my attention. The novel is highly relatable to Branson. The adventurous and care free Huck, represents the roots of small towns in Missouri. There are other, small towns and other things that Huck represents. Whenever we read this book, my mind reverts to Silver Dollar City, and I imagine that, that is how they lived. The novel jumped right into the action within the first five chapters. I really like novels that jump straight into action, they are easier to get in to, and read. Huck is in perpetuate situations, and I feel like that is really relatable to a lot of young readers, and thus helps them be intrigued in the novel.

I also like how this novel jumped right into the action. I hate when novels take several chapters to develop characters and plot. I hadn't thought of relating this to Silver Dollar City, but now that you've mentioned it, I see what you're saying. It has the old time, small town feel to it, and I love it.
I really like how you've related this book to where we live. This makes the book come full circle and hit home. I can easily see things like this happening here back in the 1800's.
