Twain's Style
Mark Twain's style is light-hearted and humorous. He entertains his readers through his dry comedy. Where does he find this mood though? He was known to have a hot temper. His temper could be fired up by the simplest situation too. He once through all of his clothes out his bedroom window because one of his button-up shirts was missing a button. Did he write humorous books to not only make the reader laugh, but himself also? Was it his way of relieving himself of some of his anger?

That is an interesting way to look at it. Most authors wrote to let go of anger or to make their situations or problems seem small and easier to handle. I enjoyed reading your post because it got me to thinking about the way he writes.
This is definitely an interesting way to look at it. Most authors write pieces based off their moods and their feelings. He must write about humor to give his anger some peace.
I feel maybe Twain used writing as a way to relieve stress. Or maybe he wrote just to entertain himself, and to keep himself from killing people when he got mad.
Killing people in books is legal, outside of books, not so much.
