I've Been Pranked
Owch! That must have hurt, Jim has been bitten but what are they going to do ? They are in the middle of the woods, one is faking his own death and the other is running from his owner because he is a slave and doesn't want to be sold. Its not like they can just get to town in two minutes and they don't even have a first aid kit. Why wouldn't they try to get to town or something before someone really does die. Sleeping is not going to just fix it and four days and nights is not going to help a snake bit.

You are right, getting a snake bite is no joke. I wouldn't know what to do in this situation because I have never been bit by a snake, but I am sure Huck and Jim will come up with something to do, they are both very imaginative.
I agree. They need to get into town and get the medicine. Its better to suffer the consequences of lying then actually dying alone on the island.
True it is bad to get bit by a snake but you do have to think of the fact that Jim was a slave and they didn't treat them right in the first place so they wouldn't help Jim because there attitude was that he was just a slave that can be replaced easily.
I couldn't imagine being bit by a snake. That would hurt so bad. They need to get medicine in it soon though cause Jim is already getting worse. I hope he is okay and gets better!
