Language
What's up bros?! I just have to say that this book is hard for me to read. Then again I'm not the best reader. Jim's dialect is very hard to read, but I like it at the same time. It shows intellect, and how well educated or technically how uneducated Jim is. The difference in speech between Jim and Huck is pretty cool. Huck is more educated than Jim, and it definitely shows in the dialog between Jim and Huck, and how truly intellectual Huck is. But that's all for this post! See you bros later. Bye! (brofist)

The way Jim talks cracks me up. I can't understand what he's saying, but at the same time, you kinda know what's going on. I don't know, it's hard to explain. xD I totally dig the relationship that Jim and Huck have. Their conversations are pretty cool, even though the dialect is so much different. That's what makes it so interesting, I guess.
I think that the dialogue between Huck and Jim might mean something a little more than educated and uneducated. It seems as if it's supposed to kind of show that Huck isn't quite like the average white or black person. He isn't like a white person because his language can be flawed, while he isn't exactly like a black person because he tends to get most of his pronunciations correct. This comparison goes a little deeper, as Huck is white, and a white farmer boy from the south nonetheless, yet he isn't racist. This is obviously a rare phenomenon. It is also a possibility that Huck's tolerance toward black people in a world full of slaves is supposed to show a sort of intelligence of long term thinking, with the ability to come up with a philosophy of his own that would today, a century or two later, be considered ideal, contrasted with his short term thinking that is sometimes a little irresponsible (like when Huck put a snake in Jim's bed).
Your picture made me LOL! I agree with you that the way Jim talks is hard to follow. He doesn't always pronounce his words fully and he certainly doesn't talk like us. He has a distinct accent.
The dialogue presented in the story is pretty much sounds uneducated, however they are able to have some educated talks using what they are saying. It shows how even though you sound like you saying stupid words, it doesn't mean you are saying dumb things.
