Hucks Feelings
So far in the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn we have witnessed the great imagination of the one they call Tom Sawyer. We have also discovered that Huckleberry's father has returned from the unknown. I feel like his father will bring Huck much sadness and harm. I believe Huck really wanted to shoot his father because he hates him.

I don't believe that Huck actually hates his father. I believe that he is just utterly terrified of him. He would do anything to get away from Pap. He also refuses to give Pap anything that he wants to take from Huck. Huck gave his own money away just to keep from Pap.
