Huck's Luck
I feel bad for Huck. He has had a very hard life and had never really had good luck, and just when hes in a home where he is safe and warm he gets kidnapped. I love that he finally got a break through when he discovered a way to escape. When he reaches Jackson island I thought that the boat firing the cannon was going to see him. I was really impressed with the amount of survival skill that Huck had. I wonder however, how long will Huck be able to survive on his own and will people just give up on searching for him? I am excited to see how this story develops as well as how Huck survives.

I wouldn't say I feel bad for him. I do have some sympathy towards the things he has been through as a child, but he seems to have a clear understanding of what is important. He sure knows how to get himself out of situations that are not so good.
I wouldn't say I feel bad for him either. He has learned quite a bit from the situation that he was put in and found a way out. He's a fighter.
I feel bad for Huck. Huck has always had a bad family life and he's also had an adventurous life, but I feel bad for him because he would be a normal boy if his parents raised him right. I am happy Huck does have a break though, because he needed it. I also cant wait to see how the story unfolds. But I agree with you, because Huck has had a hard life and I would like to see his life get better.
I'm also very impressed with Huck's survival, and I think if he was on his own he would be good to go. I think that Jim and all his different superstitions and weird ritual stuff will end up hurting Huck's chances. He seems to have a good knowledge of how to hunt, fish, cook, and travel, which is all he needs to live. This also seems like a lifestyle that would make Huck happy.
