Is Jim Actually Getting Sold?

 Although there is a strong evident suggestion that Jim is the subject of what Mrs. Watson is going to sell, I'm under the impression that it is, in fact, NOT Jim that is being sold. In the text, Jim's name doesn't seem to be mentioned specifically, Jim just tells us that she was talking about him. I will beg to differ. We all know that Jim likes to spin stories to fit his own particular situation. I believe that Jim just said she was talking about selling him so he could could run away, when she was actually talking about selling her ballerina heifer or her monstrously large and lean pig. For all we know, Mrs. Watson could have been talking about how a baby was thrown into the air, hit by the ceiling fan, bounced off the wall and flew out the window.
